Ladies, I know you’ll all pretty much agree when I say the Summer of 2015 is OVER. Now before you get all technical about it, I know that summer doesn’t officially end until September 22, but from what I can see all the signs point to it being just about gone. You know the signs I’m talking about, you can feel a slight chill in the air, school buses and kiddie carpools have taken over the morning commute and most importantly, you’ve magically put on a few pounds.

At the beginning of the summer, we were all pretty much dead-set on having a perfect bodies. However by the end of the summer it was obvious the majority of us chose to forgo fitness in favor of food, friends and fun. The scary part about this is that if we continue on this way, by the end of the year (especially after feasting on all the amazing holiday food) we may be so far removed from our fitness goals that we won’t even be able to dream about fitting into a bathing suit next summer.
Here’s five reasons why you should keep your summer workout routine going into fall.
Get Better Sleep
Don’t you try to deny it, we both know you partied pretty hard this summer and there’s no judgement over here because so did I.After being on the go nonstop for about three solid months, it should come as no surprise that your sleep schedule is a bit off and you may be feeling a bit more tired than usual.
Exercise will not only help you fall asleep faster, but will also improve the quality of your sleep. My only advice is that you refrain from exercising a few hours before bed because it stimulates your body in a way that may actually prevent you from getting a good night’s sleep.
Reduce Stress, Anxiety and Depression

This time of the year can trigger Seasonal Affective Disorder in some of us and honestly we can all get a bit stressed out and down from time to time because we’re only human.  Instead of wallowing in your feelings however, perhaps maintaining an exercise regime can help brighten your days.
When you exercise regularly, your body releases tons of feel good endorphins which are perfect for improving your mood and reducing negative feelings and emotions. Exercises like yoga are perfect for this, but if you notice you’ve been feeling down for a longer period of time than is usual, don’t hesitate to contact a medical professional.
Better Sex Life

During the colder months of the year we may all want to spend a little more time under the sheets if you know what I mean and regular exercise can help make your time spent unforgettable.
Increased blood circulation can improve your arousal and the increased strength and flexibility will have you doing things you’ve never dreamed of. As a bonus, your time in the bedroom can also count as a short workout session. Win!
Get Beautiful Skin

Beautiful skin is one thing that definitely shouldn’t be seasonal. Exercise increases circulation and reduces inflammation meaning that the improved blood flow will help carry waste products away from healthy cells and your skin cells will stay nourished and beautiful.
Increase Your Confidence

I can list a million reasons (wanna know all tips – visit his website here) for keeping your summer workout routine that will make you want to hop on a treadmill A.S.A.P, but the most important reasons is it will make you feel more comfortable in your own skin.
Exercise doesn’t even have to be hard! All you need to see results is 45 minutes a day of moderate cardio, such as running or dancing, five days a week.
