On The Scene: 21st Annual World Natural Hair Show

In my last post I told y'all I would be repping my fave hair brand Aunt Jackie's Curls and Coils at the World Natural Hair Show (see previous post). Last spring I attended the 20th Annual World Natural Hair Show in Atlanta with one goal in mind: SOMEBODY is going to hire me & these blonde tresses as a hair model!! I had a few companies in mind but at the top of that list was Aunt Jackie's Curls & Coils, an Atlanta based hair brand who's products I've used on my hair for years. What started out as a last minute addition to a Halloween costume has blossomed into a new passion! Wig making! This summer I fell in love with crochet. It was so easy to switch my hairstyle up & have a new do in 2hrs or less! I ran into a problem though. Natural-Versary and Aunt Jackie’s CC Review

This month marked 5yrs of me being on my natural hair journey!! 🙌 Lawd know this has not been has not been an easy one but definitely worth it! My first Dominican Blow Out Now I know this isn't a new trend but it's new to me -being that it's my first one- so Imma tell y'all about my experience. Plus I know a lot of naturals shy away from it because of how much heat has to be applied to the hair. Protective Style Prep Natural hair is awesome, but I don't always feel like waking up 30mins early to take down a twist out or doctor up whatever style I smushed in my sleep! In comes protective styles: they make your hair hassle free or lower maintenance, protect your tresses from damage & switch up your look.
