FIRST LOOK: Target Collaborating With Phillip Lim For Fall! Target just announced their latest collaboration… with designer Phillip Lim! And while some of their more recent collabs have received a lukewarm response from customers and editors alike, Lim’s legitimacy within the fashion world has everyone riled up. As Racked pointed out this morning, the line ”revives collab excitement,” after a downward trend in the public’s interest in high-low collections. According Target’s blog, 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target will include 100+ pieces ranging from bags to shoes to travel accessories and men’s and women’s apparel. The limited edition collection will hit Target stores and online September 15th, and is priced $19.99-$299.99 – “with most items under $49.99.” Oh happy day! First Photos: Sam & Libby’s New Lower-Priced Line For Target (From $25!) Is it just us, or has there been a surprising lack of buzz about the Sam Edelman‘s super-affordable collaboration with Target? Sam & Libby, which launches in stores and at Target.com on May 5, was announced back in November, but we haven’t heard much about it since. We did some investigating and managed to get our hands on images of the line, which includes sandals, wedges, flats and more. Kenzo x Vans Collaboration

Contrary to popular belief, a leopard can change his spots--or at least make them brighter, as evidenced by Kenzo’s fourth and latest shoe collaboration with Vans. The collection is made up of six classic styles punched up with an oversized animal print, called the Clouded Leopard, which Creative Directors Humberto Leon and Carol Lim also used in Kenzo’s S/S 13 collection. The design duo’s supercharged pattern--in electric colors like ochre, orange, blue, and green--was inspired by their travels to the jungles in Thailand, and gives Vans’ street sneakers a modern and fashion-forward twist.
