Bakers was BOOMING Saturday thanks to Kontrol Magazine's Confessions of a Shoe-a-holic event!! I've heard so much about Kontrol Magazine & have been following them on twitter for some time. I was finally able to make it out to an event & being that it involved shoes I wasn't gonna miss it! Happier Than You Know . . .
I'm not one to talk about my problems, things that are bothering me or things I've overcome, but something told me I needed to share this with you guys. On this day last year, around 10pm I put my life in danger and not for the thrill of trick or treating. I have no reason to lie to y'all so here goes: I was hanging out with some friends at a bar downtown, got a lil tipsy but I was good! On the drive home I was doing my regular tipsy driving routine- radio blasting, windows down & occasionally texting. I'm addicted to many things, #1 being lipstick! But tied for #1 are SHOES!!! Lipstick can make you feel sassy & sexy or even like a bad ass, but as Marilyn Monroe put it: & idk about you but I'm usually in a "conquer the world" kinda mood! Lol! Well besides going shoe shopping, I'm able to satiate my cravings with an IG page called @cuteshoesofinstagram. They compile daily pics of fantastic footwear from celebrities to us regular folk!
