On The Scene: 21st Annual World Natural Hair Show

In my last post I told y'all I would be repping my fave hair brand Aunt Jackie's Curls and Coils at the World Natural Hair Show (see previous post). It was my first time working a hair show & I had a BLAST!! I got to spend 2 days meeting fabulous Naturals and talk about all things natural hair & beauty! We had some amazing guests in our booth! Last spring I attended the 20th Annual World Natural Hair Show in Atlanta with one goal in mind: SOMEBODY is going to hire me & these blonde tresses as a hair model!! I had a few companies in mind but at the top of that list was Aunt Jackie's Curls & Coils, an Atlanta based hair brand who's products I've used on my hair for years. What started out as a last minute addition to a Halloween costume has blossomed into a new passion! Wig making! This summer I fell in love with crochet. It was so easy to switch my hairstyle up & have a new do in 2hrs or less! I ran into a problem though. I had this HUGE hair -& I LOVE me some big hair- but this was so big I was struggling to pull shirts over my head & it didn't even fit in a bonnet at night! I just got back from vacation & had a wonderful surprise in the mail waiting for me! Happy to not owe anybody money for once & eager to see what I got, I tore open the package to find that the lovely people at Kiss Products were congratulating me for winning a brand challenge with Influenster!!
