What should I wear on a Valentine’s Day date?
Valentine’s Day is one of our favorite times of year because not only is it an excuse to be silly and romantic with our loved ones, but we also love the explosion of pink, red, and overt girliness on the market. February 14th is the perfect excuse to buy those conversation hearts, write heartfelt cards, and indulge your ultra-sweet fashion alter ego. Tip #1: Embrace anything lingerie or boudoir-inspired. Gorgeous lace details, whether it’s on a simple cap sleeve, shift dress, pretty pumps, or handbag, will make you feel instantly feminine and flirtatious. We’re partial to the timelessness of white lace, but we also love it in neon pink for those of you who are feeling playful, or black for a subtly sultry result. Tip #2: Wear your heart on your sleeve. Now is the best time to wear the symbol of love proudly, so go ahead and splurge on a heart-print blouse or sweater that you can wear all year long. If you want to keep your clothing relatively simple that night, try a sexy heart-embellished heel instead, or layer on a few love-inspirednecklaces, cuffs, or rings to subtly acknowledge your romantic side. Kiss Kiss!
