When was the last time you exfoliated?
The skin is the largest organ of the body, so we gottta takecare of it! Of course regular skin cleaning is a must, but exfoliating on aregular basis can do wonders for your skin. You can use a mild exfoliatingcleanser once or twice a week and more intense treatments once or twice amonth. Exfoliating is helpful for all skin types: dry, oily, normal, orsensitive skin. There are a lot of benefits of exfoliating; some include promotingsmoother, healthier skin, ridding the body of dry dull skin by removing the deadskin cells from the surface, and helping to ease discoloration. Exfoliatinghelps removes the dead cells on the skin and helps keep pores from becomingclogged. It leaves skin feeling clean and refreshed. And men, it’s not just a“woman” thing, remember it’s important for you to exfoliate too!
Here are a few helpful tips along with some exfoliants youmay want to try:
*It’s best to use small circular motions when exfoliating
*It’s best to exfoliate on warm wet skin and pat dry
*You can use a facial brush to assist with exfoliating theface
*Remember that the skin on your face is more sensitive thanthe skin on the rest of your body, so use a different exfoliating cleanser foryour face
*Exfoliating cleansers that contain microbeads are gentler.
 *There are natural exfoliants that include ingredients thatyou probably already have in your kitchen.
